Bank Bed Gallery is pleased to introduce works by artists who are based in Tokyo.

KURONEKO DESIGN × FM802 / FM COCOKO
BLACK CAT ROBIN2019.11.22 - 2019.12.30 (OPEN 16:00 - 21:00)
kuroneko design is an illustration/design unit that gains popularity with picture books of
the character “Black Cat Robin”, with pointed nails and fangs, and cheeky eyes in cynical attitude.
Their refined design sense and nostalgia that has been cultivated as a commercial illustrator,
has continued to express itself in distinction from other illustrations and characters.
For this exhibition, the original goods of “Black Cat Robin” collaborated with FM802 will be highlighted,
in addition to exhibiting artworks including newly-released prints.
A calendar, stationery, special greeting card, etc… Items
that best match with presents for the holiday season will be unveiled.
黒ねこ意匠は、とがったツメにキバ、斜に構えた生意気そうな目つきのキャラクター
「くろねこ ろびんちゃん」の絵本とオリジナルグッズで人気を集めるユニットです。
商業イラストレーターとして培った洗練されたデザインセンスと懐かしさを感じるディテールで、
他のイラストやキャラクターとは一線を画した表現を続けています。
今回は、新たに発表する版画作品を含むアートの展示販売のほか、
FM802とコラボレーションした「くろねこ ろびんちゃん」のオリジナルグッズを展開。
カレンダーやステーショナリーをはじめ、特別なグリーティングカードなど、
ホリデーシーズンにプレゼントしたくなるアイテムを取り揃えます。

kuroneko design has been popular with their signature character “Black Cat Robin,” a naughty cat with sassy eyes, since 2011.
Thair retro-styled artworks and sophisticated taste of design depend on the experience of being a commercial illustrator, which makes them unique from other illustrations or characters.
2011年より、名古屋を拠点に活動する二人組。
黒ねこの「ろびんちゃん」が主人公の絵本と雑貨を中心に、個展やマーケットイベントで好評を博す。ゴンチャロフのバレンタインチョコレートに起用されるなど、活躍の場を広げている。
旅の途中。目にした風景、耳を澄ました鳥の声、どこか懐かしい花の匂い。
抱えきれないほどの思い出に囲まれて、心地良いひとときを過ごしていただきたい。
楽しい非日常の時間をカバンに詰め込んで、新たな一日に旅立っていただきたい。
テーマは「採集」。
東京を散歩して集めてきた色々な「思い出」に彩られているイメージです。
